AQA GCSE Maths

AQA Specification Alignment

AQA places strong emphasis on applying maths to real-life scenarios and developing structured reasoning.

Our course is aligned with AQA’s Higher tier specification and covers all topics, including:

  • Algebra: Quadratics, inequalities and sequences
  • Geometry and measures: Angles, area, and 3D Shapes
  • Statistics and probability: interpreting data and handling risk
  • Number and ratio: Proportional reasoning & surds

Each paper is 1 hour 30 minutes long, worth 80 marks, and includes a mix of real-world applications, multi-step problems, and short responses.

We reflect AQA's exam format through carefully designed questions, supporting students to develop their reasoning skills and exam technique.

Edexcel GCSE Maths

Edexcel Specification Alignment

Edexcel focuses on conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and application in unfamiliar contexts.

Our course covers all Edexcel Higher tier content, including:

  • Algebra: Expressions, functions, and graph sketching
  • Geometry and trigonometry: Angles, transformations and proofs
  • Number and proportion: Fractions, decimals and ratio
  • Data: Statistical diagrams and probability

The Edexcel exam consists of three 90-minute papers, each worth 80 marks. One is non-calculator and two are calculator papers.

Mock exams reflect the layout and command language of real Edexcel exams to help students gain confidence.

OCR GCSE Maths

OCR Specification Alignment

OCR combines standard mathematical topics with applied problem-solving and technical language.

Our course covers all OCR Higher tier topics, such as:

  • Algebra: Graphs, formulae, and function notation
  • Geometry and reasoning: Proof, congruence, and loci
  • Number: Indices, rounding, and estimation
  • Probability and statistics: Data handling and sampling techniques

OCR’s exam structure includes three 90-minute papers, each worth 100 marks. Paper 1 is calculator, Paper 2 is non-calculator, and Paper 3 is calculator.

Lessons and practice tasks are shaped to reflect OCR’s typical multi-step problem structure.
